Pricing and timing

Maternity sessions are best done between 32-37 weeks.

This is a 60 minute session.

We offer in home and outdoor sessions, as well as studio sessions

Images from the session are placed in a viewing gallery and you can either chose to purchase the digital images or prints.

Session cost $695.00 for in home or outdoors.

This also includes the edited digital files from the session.

We can recommend some beautiful outdoor locations or you can use our studio in Highbury.

*Please take note that we are not currently offering “in studio sessions” because of COVID-19 as its too difficult to remain socially distant in the studio. We will be monitoring the situation to see when we can safely offer in studio sessions. We will however happily and safely offer outdoor portrait sessions for families.

What to bring and wear

I recommend if possible for your partner to be included in the session & also if you already have children then they are also very welcome to be included too, this opens up our opportunity for different poses and to record your family before the new baby arrives

For mum we recommend bringing a couple of outfits, bring clothes that you feel comfortable in and show off your belly.

For Dad avoid large logos or slogans on t-shirts, they distract from the images

One big recommendation I can give is; that natural earthy tones work well for the session. It’s also nice to co ordinate outfits and colours, but avoid the uniform look of everyone wearing the same thing.

For make up keep it natural & soft, avoid shimmery or shiny finishes and bronzer as it will look un-natural and unflattering with the lighting

Alternately we also can offer our studio, please take note the studio is only suitable for small groups.

Retouching

I am often asked about how much retouching I do, I keep all retouching to a natural level, I will retouch pimples, scratches, bruises and stretch marks etc.. but for more advanced retouching there is an added cost as its very time consuming so its outsourced.
